DESCRIPTION

The wind of changes is blowing in the Clown Chorus in 2023!

We wish to develop our choir and hope to gather a group of red nose fools who are ready to dedicate to this activity for one year at the time. In the long term it would be great to have a solid group of clowns that could be ready for choir gigs around the year. 

 

So warmly welcome all lovely old choir members, that we have had the privilege to sing with and welcome new clowns who wish to start this journey with us!

 

The slogan of the year is DREAM ON! In the spring 2023 the clowns will dive into the world of dreaming and start to develop the program of evergreen stage and movie songs. We will practice listening between the clowns and seek the harmony of the clown voices. At the end of the spring we will have a consert. 

 

In the fall we will continue to develop the programme and give more space for the individual flops of the clowns and push them towards solo moments. At the end of the autumn period the choir will perform at the Teatteri Metamorfoosi’s Clown Matinee among the other clown numbers.

AIMED FOR

All performing artist who are familiar with theatre clownery and have worked with their inner clown. Those who are interested to work with their clown voice of and wish to create together a harmonious clown choir of all choirs.

TEACHERS

Our music leader of the chorus is music pedagogue and clown Helena Leminen a.k.a. Grace Von Virtanen. 

Clown director is Soile Mäkelä assisted by always so luminous clown Halla Kalma.
